Sounds like a splendid trip! I hope you had fun! :) I would love to take my kids on a trip with no particular place to go! We are going from FL to ME and back again in August, but we won't have much time for site seeing. :(
I've always wanted to take a trip like that! Sounds like a lot of fun!
Sounds like a BLAST! Brian and I used to take trips like that all the time (before kids!). We would just set out with a week and no destination in mind. We ended up crazy places like Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Memphis, Tennesee. Lots of fun and great memories.
Ahem, you forgot to mention the bad ass Mexican food you had in Texas. Please, throw me a bone girl. Was I right or was I right or was I right? Shit!
So the DS meltdown was the only one? That is a lot of miles for a week. There were obviously enough margaritas to get you through the trip without killing anyone. I'm proud of you for that! I'm still expecting some pictures!
You are far more brave than I! That is a lot of miles to be in the car with 4 kids. I sure hope that you got what you needed out of the trip. S
What a cool trip! Did you plan for your route to look like the state of Illinois, or did it just turn out that way?
That's quite the road trip! Only one melt down is a miracle. Glad you made it back safe. Hope you get to go back to Colorado soon.
number of times I laughed????TEN!
I can smell those skunks from here girl.
You forgot the "spending time with the family"- PRICELESS.
