Thank Goodness! Thursdays...

It's time for another round of Thank Goodness!


Thank Goodness! for... my Dad.

He is always here for me when I need him. He is the one person that I vent to on almost a daily basis, as he does to me, and it keeps us sane. He listens, I listen, we both agree that things will get better, we continue with our day.



He has made mistakes in his past and is not afraid to admit it. He had tough times. There was a point in my youth where we actually lived in the bunkhouse. No toilet, running water... yet I have only fond memories of this time. Just another adventure in life.



He would do whatever he can to help anyone. This man drives to his mother's house anywhere from 3-10 times A DAY to give her insulin shots, check her sugar, and to help her with the little things she isn't able to do anymore.



He is awesome with children, be it his grandkids or any other kids. He genuinely loves children. My kids are always begging to go hang out with their Grandpa. If anything would ever happen to Justin and I, my Dad is the person I would trust 110% to raise my kids and make sure they have a good life and instill the values I believe are important.

My Dad works harder than anyone I have ever known. Maybe a little too hard, I wish he would have more time to himself to relax and enjoy life... but I know that all this hard work is for us.



He loves my husband and they are really good friends. Like, they call each other just to talk.  I don't think I could have found a better match between father and husband.



He is so smart. Really! He is a wealth of knowledge. Always planning, envisioning, creating. The man is genius!



Dad, thank you for always being there for us. We love you more than you know.
